Based on a 2015 U.S. Energy Information Administration study, between 32% and 44% of total energy use in apartments went solely to temperature control. Water heating was the next largest category, at 27% to 32% of total energy use. Reducing heating needs alone has a big impact on apartment energy use. At its core, we strive to help reduce our resident’s household and lifestyle impact on the environment. We do this by including sustainable features in your apartment through technological devices, appliances, lighting systems, and fixtures.

That's why we've integrated Nest thermostats into every unit, you're joining a community dedicated to making a positive environmental impact. Our collective use of Nest thermostats significantly reduces overall energy consumption, demonstrating our commitment to a sustainable, energy-efficient future.

Social Responsibility and Financial Flexibility: We understand that life doesn't always follow a strict schedule. Flex Resident Pay is designed to offer our residents the financial flexibility they need while maintaining our community's stability and integrity. By allowing customizable payment schedules, we're supporting financial inclusivity and reducing the stress associated with rigid payment deadlines.

We're also looking out for our resident's financial best interests. At Montego Bay, we believe in acknowledging prompt rent payments with credit where it's due. That's why we've partnered with Esusu to automate your credit building by reporting your monthly rent payments to credit bureaus, boosting your credit score one payment at a time.

Through the Esusu Resident Portal, renters have a dedicated platform for not only checking their credit scores but also reviewing their credit history. Additionally, it serves as a centralized hub for accessing rental and financial tools, all conveniently located in one place.
